RE&UP Launches Fiber Club Consortium to Expand Next-Generation Recycled Material Sourcing

Initiative introduces a collaborative framework designed to accelerate the commercial adoption of circular Next-Gen materials across the global fashion industry.
RE&UP has announced the launch of RE&UP and its Fiber Club, a collaborative consortium designed to support the commercial scaling of Next-Gen recycled materials within the fashion industry.
The RE&UP Fiber Club was originally developed as an umbrella framework by innovation platform Fashion for Good. According to the company, the initiative is intended to remove traditional supply chain barriers and support broader adoption of premium recycled materials across the global fashion ecosystem.
The company stated that the integration of high-quality, next-generation recycled textiles has often been constrained by fragmented supply chains, minimum order quantity (MOQ) requirements and high upfront costs, limiting many sustainability initiatives to pilot projects.
Four-Stage Framework for Brand Participation
RE&UP said the Fiber Club has been structured around four operational phases designed to guide participating brands through the adoption process.
The first phase focuses on establishing the consortium structure and aligning key supply chain stakeholders.
The second phase involves initial material sampling, including the review of standardised material specifications and agreement on supply terms.
The third phase centres on developing and launching an initial commercial collection at the individual brand level.
The final phase is aimed at establishing long-term partnerships through predictable, discounted fibre purchase commitments, enabling brands to transition towards a permanent circular supply chain.
Commenting on the launch, Andreas Dorner, General Manager of RE&UP, said:
"The technology to recycle textiles is only half the battle; the real hurdle is commercial alignment. With RE&UP and its Fiber Club, the baseline for high-volume, compliant circularity is active and operationally ready today. We are giving forward-thinking brands the plug-and-play infrastructure required to stop experimenting with sustainability and start scaling it."
RE&UP stated that additional information about the initiative is available through its website.
