Certification recognises the company's social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability across its circular textile manufacturing operations
RE&UP has officially become a Certified B Corporation™, joining a group of manufacturing infrastructure providers verified against B Lab Standards for social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
The certification applies to the company's textile-to-textile recycling operations, which convert global textile waste into high-volume Next-Gen materials. According to the company, the certification reflects its approach to integrating innovation, circularity and operational responsibility within its manufacturing processes.
"Today marks an important milestone for RE&UP as we become a Certified B Corporation™. This certification reflects our commitment to building an infrastructure where innovation, circularity, and operational responsibility operate in unison. It recognizes not only what we do, transforming textile waste into high-purity resources, but also how we do it: with transparency, accountability, and a long-term vision. This achievement is a testament to our team's collective effort, and we remain dedicated to driving systemic, meaningful change across the global value chain." said Ebru Özküçük Güler, Chief Sustainability Officer, RE&UP.
The certification comes as commercial and regulatory requirements continue to evolve. According to recent B Lab research, 90.7% of global consumers believe corporate directors should be held accountable for environmental and social impacts. The research also states that 85% of consumers who are aware of the B Corp™ brand report that it directly influences their purchasing decisions, with the trend being led by consumers under the age of 40.
RE&UP uses its proprietary textile-to-textile (T2T) technology to produce Next-Gen Cotton fibers and Next-Gen Polyester chips. These materials are designed to integrate into existing global value chains while supporting commercial-scale production and verified corporate governance.
