Raymond Limited Accelerates Andhra Pradesh Expansion to Meet Rising Customer Demand
The company is adding brownfield manufacturing capacity near its existing Mega facility while its larger greenfield project continues as scheduled to support long-term growth.
Raymond Limited, through its subsidiary companies, is accelerating manufacturing capacity expansion in Andhra Pradesh to support business momentum and rising customer requirements. As part of the initiative, a subsidiary is developing an additional brownfield facility near its existing Mega manufacturing facility in the state.
The interim capacity addition is expected to support incremental customer requirements and volumes during the current financial year, while the company continues work on its planned greenfield project.
Brownfield Facility to Address Near-Term Demand
The accelerated brownfield expansion is intended to help Raymond respond more quickly to customer demand while maintaining capital and execution discipline. The additional capacity will provide near-term support for customer requirements and incremental business volumes.
Meanwhile, the company’s planned greenfield project in Andhra Pradesh is progressing as scheduled. Envisaged as a larger, long-term manufacturing platform, the facility is expected to enhance Raymond’s manufacturing infrastructure and capacity to support its medium- and long-term growth plans.
Two-Stage Manufacturing Expansion Strategy
Raymond’s approach combines immediate capacity augmentation with longer-term infrastructure development. The strategy comprises:
- Near-term expansion: Additional brownfield capacity to address current customer requirements and incremental volumes.
- Long-term expansion: A scalable greenfield manufacturing facility to support future growth and expanding customer opportunities.
