Key highlights included India’s textile and clothing exports reaching USD 36.95 billion in 2025 (up 0.67%), amid global challenges from US reciprocal tariffs, geopolitical tensions, logistics disruptions, subdued demand and rising sustainability mandates. TEXPROCIL also backed Bharat Tex 2026 and market diversification across Europe, the UK, Asia, Africa and Latin America.
The meeting underscored resilience, value addition, traceability and industry-government partnership toward Vision 2030 goals of a USD 350 billion textiles sector with USD 100 billion exports.
