RadiciGroup marks two decades of sustainability reporting with major environmental, social, and governance milestones.

RadiciGroup has published its 21st Sustainability Report, reaffirming over 20 years of transparency and measurable progress in its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) journey. The 2024 report, aligned with GRI Universal Standards, highlights the Group’s tangible results, continued investments, and preparations for the upcoming Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) framework.

RadiciGroup has unveiled its 21st Sustainability Report, covering the fiscal year 2024, reinforcing its long-standing commitment to responsible growth and transparency. Since its first Social Report in 2004, the Group has consistently evolved its reporting practices, now aligning them with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Universal Standards and setting its sights on compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

Between 2020 and 2024, RadiciGroup invested €277 million to enhance its competitiveness and sustainability, including €44 million in 2024 alone. Of this, €3.3 million was directed toward environmental initiatives focused on energy efficiency, emission reduction, and the adoption of best available technologies.

The Group’s sustainability roadmap, titled “From Earth to Earth,” introduced in 2023, outlines specific ESG goals to be achieved by 2030. Several of these targets were successfully reached in 2024 — notably, an 81% reduction in direct (Scope 1) emissions compared to 2011. Additionally, 63.5% of electricity used came from renewable sources, a growing portion of which was self-generated. The company’s circular approach to water, materials, and waste management resulted in a near 100% recovery rate for packaging materials, underscoring its progress toward a sustainable industrial model.

For the first time, RadiciGroup’s 2024 report includes the calculation of Scope 3 emissions, following the GHG Protocol standards. The Group now aims to deepen its measurement of the entire value chain’s carbon footprint through a collaborative effort involving suppliers and customers alike.

On the social sustainability front, the Group reported a marked improvement in health and safety performance, along with the launch of new training and professional development programs tailored to regional and cultural contexts. RadiciGroup also strengthened its commitment to inclusivity and respect for human rights, fostering an equitable work environment across all global operations.

Sustainability for RadiciGroup also means driving product innovation. The company continues to develop recycled and bio-based materials, solution-dyed yarns that minimize water and energy consumption, and low-carbon solutions verified through Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). Leveraging its expertise in nylon recycling, RadiciGroup champions eco-design and circular economy principles, ensuring value creation across every stage of the production cycle in collaboration with its partners.

From a governance perspective, the Group has further strengthened its integrated ESG management systems, ensuring greater transparency and traceability. Digitalization remains a core enabler of its strategic growth, with advanced systems supporting data-driven decision-making, production efficiency, and cybersecurity.

“Our journey over the past two decades reflects not just consistency but measurable progress toward a sustainable industrial future,” said the company in its official statement accompanying the report.
