PYRATEX & Circ Partner to Scale Circular Textiles Globally

Circ®, a pioneer in textile-to-textile recycling, and PYRATEX®, a next-generation textile R&D company, have deepened their collaboration to integrate Circ’s recycled fibers into PYRATEX’s fabric collections. As global demand grows for truly circular and scalable textile solutions, this alliance — strengthened by PYRATEX’s volume commitments — establishes PYRATEX as Circ’s strategic European partner for producing circular knitted fabrics and knitwear garments, enabling global brands to access high-performance, scalable, and sustainable textile alternatives.
Building on three years of collaboration, PYRATEX has already developed fabrics incorporating Circ’s recycled polyester and lyocell fibers, with selected bulk productions underway for pioneering clients soon to hit the market. With Circ’s new facility set to launch in France, PYRATEX is preparing to scale production volumes and make these next-generation fibers a viable replacement for conventional polyester and lyocell widely used in the fashion industry.
Peter Majeranowski, CEO of Circ, commented:
“Pyratex has built a reputation for turning bold ideas into real, scalable fabric solutions. Their early partnership and continued investment in Circ fibers reflects a deeper shift as long-term commitments are taking shape to support circularity at industrial scale. We’re working together to build a supply chain that can support circularity where it matters most: at scale.”
Regina Polanco, CEO of PYRATEX, added:
“Circ’s technology gives us what the industry desperately needs: true recycled fibers of fashion’s most widely used textiles. Through this partnership, we can integrate these solutions directly into our textile formulas delivering the quality, performance, and design flexibility that brands need while reducing impact at scale.”
The alliance embodies a shared mission to help the fashion industry transition from virgin fibers to high-quality circular alternatives, without compromising on aesthetics, performance, or functionality.
Circ and PYRATEX will present their joint work during a Textile Exchange field trip in Portugal on October 17, offering brands an opportunity to witness scaled circular fiber production and explore pathways to integrate next-generation materials into future collections.
