Punjab’s First Giga Solar Module Plant by Roshni Renewable

Roshni Renewable to launch Punjab’s first giga-scale solar module plant with Jinchen, marking a milestone in India’s renewable energy growth.

Roshni Renewable LLP, backed by Valco Industries and Solidus Techno Power, will establish Punjab’s first giga-scale solar module facility with a 1.8 GW capacity, advancing India’s clean energy and manufacturing self-reliance.

Roshni Renewable LLP is set to revolutionize Punjab’s renewable energy landscape with the establishment of the state’s first giga-scale solar module manufacturing plant in Patiala. The initiative comes from experienced professionals behind Valco Industries Ltd., one of India’s top aluminium manufacturers, and Solidus Techno Power Pvt. Ltd., a leading Punjab-based EPC company.

With an initial capacity of 1.8 GW, this landmark project signifies a major advancement for both Punjab’s industrial development and India’s renewable energy ambitions. The fully automated, state-of-the-art facility will meet global manufacturing standards, create significant employment opportunities, and support sustainable regional growth.

The manufacturing line will be developed in partnership with Jinchen, one of India’s most trusted solar module manufacturing solution providers. This collaboration was formalized during the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo, marking a key milestone in Punjab’s journey toward green industrial transformation.
