Priya Patil Makes Paris Fashion Week Debut, Showcases Modern Luxury Menswear

Luxury menswear designer Priya Patil, known for her long-term work with Amitabh Bachchan, made her runway debut at Paris Fashion Week with a showcase at Shangri-La Paris. The event featured her latest collection to international buyers, media, and fashion professionals. Patil’s presentation highlights her approach to contemporary luxury menswear.
Speaking about the presentation, Patil stated, "Representing India on a global stage and Presenting my work in Paris is a deeply meaningful moment in my journey as a designer. Menswear today is evolving beyond convention — it is about individuality, comfort and quiet confidence. Through this collection, I wanted to bring together structure, ease and personality while staying rooted in timeless craftsmanship."
Patil has designed for prominent figures in sport, cinema, and leadership, including Amitabh Bachchan, for whom she created wardrobe pieces for the television show Kaun Banega Crorepati. Her work has also been worn by Indian cricketers Rohit Sharma, Sachin Tendulkar, and Hardik Pandya, as well as Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, and Ajay Devgn.
In 2007, she was awarded the title of ‘India’s Creative Future’ by a British Council contest covered by the BBC, recognising India’s creative entrepreneurs. During that period, she was invited to 10 Downing Street to meet Cherie Blair, who wore her designs.
Operating from her Mumbai studio, Patil offers personalized design services, creating complete wardrobes focused on luxury, comfort, and individuality.
The Paris collection included three main design directions:
- LOFTY LUXE: Structured silhouettes and formal luxury.
- RELAXED LUXURY: Comfort-driven, effortless elegance.
- THE SPIRIT EDIT: Sport-inspired pieces, including bomber jackets and relaxed silhouettes.
