West Coast manufacturing site records increased production and mattress burn test performance results

Precision Textiles has reported operational developments at its Arizona manufacturing and distribution facility, including increased production activity and recent full-scale open-flame mattress burn test results involving products manufactured at the site.

Announced from Fairfield, NJ on May 13, 2026, the company stated that the Arizona facility is operating at a high level of efficiency as demand continues to increase across its customer base.

The 60,000-square-foot manufacturing and warehouse facility was established in 2021 to support production demand and improve supply proximity for West Coast customers. The site manufactures FR and non-FR highloft products used in mattress panels and borders, along with additional products including Endure® FR stitchbond, IQ Fit® GlassFree socks and caps, FR-backed laminated borders, and PurLoft® Organic batting.

According to the company, full-scale mattress burn testing was conducted in February using latex mattresses containing PurLoft® Organic materials produced at the Arizona facility. The testing was carried out under CFR 1633 standards and included several constructions with elevated fuel loads.

Precision Textiles stated that the test results demonstrated consistent material performance across multiple mattress constructions designed for high-fuel-load conditions.

The company also stated that it continues to support mattress manufacturers with technical guidance related to CFR 1633 compliance and open-flame burn testing requirements.

“The Arizona facility is doing exactly what we built it to do,” said Keith Martin. “We’re seeing strong production output, high efficiency, and consistent product performance. Just as important, we’re in a great position to support additional volume and respond quickly to our West Coast customers.”

The facility initially began operations with a team of 11 employees and has since expanded by adding two additional personnel. According to the company, production volumes have also increased since the facility’s launch in 2021.

Precision Textiles stated that the West Coast facility forms part of its broader strategy to align manufacturing capacity with customer demand while reducing freight costs and shortening delivery lead times.

The company supplies material solutions for the bedding industry and other industrial sectors, with products focused on manufacturing performance, scalability, and production requirement.
