Initially developed for spinning preparation, the CL-X has been used in hundreds of installations worldwide, delivering improvements in cleaning efficiency, lower waste, higher productivity and energy savings. The technology is now being applied at the first industrial processing stage of cotton to improve fibre recovery during ginning.
Improving Cotton Separation During Ginning
Cotton processing begins with seed cotton arriving directly from the field. The material is separated into three components:
- Cotton fibres
- Cotton seeds
- Waste
