Popees Baby Care Opens 106th Store in Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu

Popees Baby Care has opened its 106th retail outlet in Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu. The launch also marks the brand’s first Exclusive Brand Outlet (EBO) in the city, offering a range of baby and maternity products.

The inauguration ceremony was conducted by Dr. Ramesh A and Dr. Kavitha Ramesh K from Karaikudi KNH Fertility Center. Members of the Popees Baby Care team, along with invited guests and families from the region, attended the event.

The store offers a range of products including baby wear, baby care items, maternity wear, toys, and accessories. According to the company, the products are developed with attention to safety and quality standards.

The Karaikudi outlet also features the brand’s bamboo essentials collection, which includes products designed for newborns and infants. These items are described as eco-friendly and skin-safe.

Popees Baby Care stated that its products undergo 28 quality checkpoints as part of its internal quality standards.

The inauguration event saw participation from parents and families in the region, who visited the store during the launch.

Founded by Shaju Thomas in 2003, Popees Baby Care began with the aim of providing products designed for babies’ comfort, safety, and daily care. The company’s product range includes diapers for children, soap, wet wipes, fabric wash, footwear, toys, baby oil, cream, powder, and maternity products.

The company currently operates three manufacturing plants employing more than 2,000 people, with a production capacity of 5 lakh garments per month.
