Popees Baby Care Opens 102nd Store in Kunnamangalam, Kozhikode

Popees Baby Care has expanded its retail footprint in Kerala with the launch of its 102nd store at Kunnamangalam in Kozhikode. The new outlet was inaugurated on January 15, 2026, marking another step in the brand’s growing presence in the baby care and maternity retail segment. The opening event witnessed participation from local representatives, healthcare professionals, and families from the region.

The inauguration ceremony, held at 10:30 AM, was led by Dr. Binu K, Consultant Gynaecologist at Nirmala Hospital, who specialises in infertility treatment and laparoscopic surgery. The event was attended by C K Faseela, President of the Kunnamangalam Block Panchayat, as the special guest. Social media influencer Anusree was also present, adding to the gathering of visitors and well-wishers.

Senior members of Popees Baby Care, including CEO Jayanand K, General Manager – Sales Sunil Varrier, and Head of Retail Operations Midhun Yeshudas Antony, attended the opening and interacted with customers and guests.

To mark the store launch, the company introduced a limited inauguration-day initiative titled the “Hospital to Home Kit,” under which customers presenting the event flyer and making purchases above ₹1,500 received a complimentary surprise gift.

The Kunnamangalam outlet features an extensive selection of baby wear, baby care essentials, maternity wear, toys, and accessories. All products are developed using baby-safe materials and adhere to the company’s internal quality framework, which includes 28 checkpoints aimed at ensuring safety and comfort. The store also highlighted its bamboo-based essentials range, positioned as an eco-friendly and skin-safe option for newborns and infants, which received a positive response during the launch.

The opening saw steady footfall from parents and families, reflecting continued demand for specialised baby care retail in the region.
