Popees Baby Care Launches Bamboo-Based Baby Wipes, Expands FMCG Range

Popees Baby Care, a well-known name in baby products, has ventured deeper into the FMCG sector with the introduction of bamboo-based baby wipes. The new product, designed to combine comfort and environmental consciousness, reflects the brand’s ongoing focus on purity and sustainability.

The wipes are made using water extracted from 100% organic bamboo and feature a blend of Aloe Vera, Avocado Oil, and Vitamin E—ingredients known for their antioxidant and skin-soothing properties. Free from alcohol and artificial fragrances, the 60 GSM wipes have undergone dermatological testing and are intended to provide gentle care for a baby’s sensitive skin. Popees Baby Care’s Founder and Managing Director, Shaju Thomas, noted that the new wipes were developed with the intention of balancing baby wellness and ecological responsibility. “Keeping the distinct needs of babies in mind, we have carefully created this product that is high in water content and is loaded with the benefits of aloe vera,” he said. He added that the use of eco-friendly raw materials underlines the company’s goal of protecting both babies and the environment. The product launch follows a notable milestone for Popees Baby Care—the opening of its 100th exclusive retail outlet in Koduvally, Kozhikode. The company is now preparing for its next phase of expansion, targeting new outlets across India and international markets. Plans include 25 additional stores in the near term, with the long-term vision of expanding its retail network to 1,000 outlets within the next four years. Expansion in North India and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries remains a key part of its growth agenda.
