The average cost of household sewing machines in Poland has increased by 3% to $84.6 per unit. The cost of a domestic sewing machine in April 2023 was $84.6 per unit (CIF, Poland), an increase of 2.8% from the previous month. However, the import price overall saw a modest decline. With a 15% increase over the prior month, October 2022 seemed to have the fastest growth. The import price decreased from May 2022 to April 2023, however it remained below its peak of $99.9 per unit in April 2022. Prices vary significantly depending on the nation of origin: Taiwan (Chinese) had the highest price ($114 per unit), while Vietnam had one of the lowest prices ($74.6 per unit). Vietnam witnessed the highest rate of price growth from April 2022 to April 2023 (+1.8%), while prices for the other major suppliers saw a fall.
