Picanol to Showcase Ultimax and OmniPlus-i Connect at ITM 2026
Picanol will participate in ITM 2026 in Istanbul, presenting its latest weaving technologies and digital solutions for the textile industry. The company will exhibit in Hall 8, booth 802.
At the event, Picanol will showcase the Ultimax rapier weaving machine, designed with a focus on performance, fabric quality, digitalisation, and sustainability. Two Ultimax weaving machines will be displayed at the exhibition, including one weaving denim fabric and another weaving voile fabric.
The company will also present the next-generation OmniPlus-i Connect airjet weaving machine, launched at the end of 2025. According to Picanol, the redesigned machine platform includes optimised machine components aimed at reducing energy consumption.
The OmniPlus-i Connect features EcoBoost technology, which the company states delivers energy savings of up to 1.5 kW per machine. During ITM 2026, the machine will be demonstrated weaving poplin fabrics.
Picanol will additionally present PicConnect, its centralized digital platform that combines the company’s digital tools and services. The platform now includes AI-powered functionalities and enables monitoring of weaving mill data including production rates, machine performance, weaver efficiency, and energy consumption.
According to the company, PicConnect includes customizable dashboards and automated reporting options.
