Brückner Textile Technologies announced that Phoenox Textiles Ltd. has installed a new carpet back-coating line supplied by the German textile machinery manufacturer as part of its strategy to expand production capacity and support future growth.
Founded in 1954 in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, Phoenox Textiles has operated as a family-owned company for more than 70 years. Currently managed by the fourth generation of the Mosley family, the company specializes in the production of carpets, floor mats, and play rugs. According to the company, the investment was made to meet increasing market demand, improve production processes, and support entry into new business areas. Following project planning and technical consultations, Brückner was selected as the technology partner for the installation of the carpet back-coating line.
The newly installed coating system entered operation after commissioning and achieved production performance levels that exceeded the contractually agreed production targets during the start-up phase.
Phoenox stated that collaboration with Brückner throughout the project included technical support, consultation, and service assistance. The partnership also covers ongoing technical consulting, maintenance support, system upgrades, and spare parts supply.
With the investment, Phoenox aims to strengthen its manufacturing operations while continuing its focus on combining long-standing textile production experience with modern production technology.
