Supervisory Board Renews Oliver Stratmann’s Tenure as CFO
LANXESS has confirmed the reappointment of Oliver Stratmann as Chief Financial Officer, extending his leadership for another five-year term starting September 2026.
The Supervisory Board of specialty chemicals company LANXESS has confirmed that Oliver Stratmann will continue in his role as Chief Financial Officer, extending his appointment for an additional five years. His new term will start on September 1, 2026, directly following the conclusion of his initial three-year tenure on the Board of Management.
Rainier van Roessel, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, emphasized Stratmann’s strong performance, stating: “Oliver Stratmann is doing an excellent job as Chief Financial Officer in these challenging times. Right now, solid and forward-looking financial planning is particularly important, and his comprehensive knowledge of the financial markets is a great help to us in this regard.”
CEO Matthias Zachert also expressed his support, noting: “I am delighted that Oliver Stratmann will continue to be part of our Executive Board team and support us with his expertise in steering the Group through this crisis affecting the entire chemical industry.”
