Ms Samanta Paul Quadros, a 5th-semester Textile Design student from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Daman campus, has been awarded a special mention by the jury at the Abhyuday: Yuva Sansad (Youth Parliament) organized by the Indian Institute of Management Jammu. This prestigious national event brought together students from across the country, showcasing the best of India's youth talent.

The student's achievement at the Youth Parliament reinforced NIFT's commitment to nurturing talent and encouraging students to participate in national-level events. The importance of initiatives like the Akshar Lab has aimed to enhance proficiency in multiple languages, where students can contribute to such vibrant linguistic initiatives. Abhyuday–Yuva Sansad is a dynamic initiative that mirrors the vibrancy of Indian democracy. The speakers encouraged the youth to raise their voices with accountability and channel them toward nation-building. Ms. Samantha's accomplishment drew praise from NIFT Director Dr. Brijesh Deore, who emphasized that it showcases the institute's dedication to fostering a culture of innovation, critical thinking, and leadership among its students.
