NIFT Gears Up for Admissions 2026; Appeal to join the Legacy of Industry Excellence

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Daman campus is ramping up outreach efforts as admissions for 2026 open, inviting passionate students to apply before the deadline on January 16, 2026. Offering cutting-edge programs in Fashion Design, Textile Design, and Fashion Management, NIFT Daman equips aspiring creatives and professionals with the skills necessary for thriving careers in the dynamic fashion and textile industries.

Eligible candidates for the 4-year Bachelor of Design (B.Des) in Fashion Design and Textile Design include 12th pass or appearing students, while the 2-year Master of Fashion Management (M.F.M.) welcomes graduates or those appearing in their final year. With 7 seats reserved exclusively for domicile students of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu (DNH&DD), this is a prime opportunity for local talent to access world-class education right at home.

Highlighting NIFT Daman's strong industry ties, Director Dr. Sanjeev Shrivastava visited Siyaram Industry in Daman on January 10, 2026, to strengthen alumni-industry partnerships. He reconnected with Mr. Kamal Sharma, a 1997-99 GMT alumnus from NIFT Hyderabad and  member of the NIFT Alumni Industry Association Board for Daman Campus, now excelling as Assistant Vice President at Siyaram. Reflecting on Kamal's innovative contributions from his student days, Dr. Shrivastava expressed pride in his achievements and invited him to mentor current students in Fashion Management and Textile Design to unlock hands-on guidance and greater visibility in Daman's vibrant local industry.
