NIFT Fashion Show Takes Center Stage at Silvassa Book Fair 2025

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) students participated in the 6 days Silvassa Book Fair 2025, organized by the Union Territory of Dadra Nagar Haveli Daman and Diu. The book fair has attracted thousands of visitors, with NIFT setting up an awareness counter to promote their courses. The NIFT awareness counter drew significant attention from 12th standard and undergraduate students, interested in learning more about the institute's fashion programs. This initiative allowed NIFT to connect with potential students and showcase the opportunities available in the fashion industry.

As part of the cultural events, NIFT organized two captivating fashion shows. The first show featured traditional South Indian sarees in various draping styles, highlighting the rich cultural heritage of India. The second show showcased tie-dye designs, demonstrating the students' creativity and skill in textile design. A group dance performance added to the excitement of the event. The event provided a platform for students to express themselves and demonstrate their skills in fashion design and performance. The book fair will conclude on Thursday.
