NIFT Daman Student Megha Sharma Wins ‘Most Chic Collection’ at Delhi Times Fashion Week 2026

First-year Master of Fashion Management student recognised for her collection ‘Maharani in Paris’

Megha Sharma, a first-year Master of Fashion Management student at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Daman Campus, won the “Most Chic Collection” title at Delhi Times Fashion Week 2026, organised by The Times of India.

Held from September 18 to 20, 2026, the event brought emerging and established designers together on the runway. Sharma received the recognition for her collection “Maharani in Paris.”

‘Maharani in Paris’ Blends Indian and Parisian Influences

The collection combines elements of regal Indian heritage with Parisian fashion influences. “Maharani in Paris” portrays a contemporary queen navigating the streets of Paris with confidence, grace and timeless style.

The recognition highlights Sharma’s creative and technical approach to fashion design and comes during her first year of the Master of Fashion Management programme at NIFT Daman.
