“Weaveknitt exhibition2024,” organized by SGCCI

— More than 12700 visitors attended the three-day exhibition

The “Garment and Sourcing Expo – 2024” and the “weaveknitt Exhibition – 2024” are being held in the Surat International Exhibition and Convention Center in Sarsana on September 20–22, 2024, by the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI). Over 12,500 people came to see this three-day display. The SGCCI reports that the exhibitors at this show brought in more than 400 crores in sales.

According to SGCCI President Mr. Vijay Mewawala, the third edition of the Weaveknitt exhibition took place this year after two years of success. Purchase managers from corporate houses, dealers from Surat, and sincere purchasers of fabrics from India’s largest textile mandis—Indore, Cuttack, Jaipur, Pune, Banaras, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Kolkata, Lucknow, Chennai, Mumbai, and Delhi—also attended the event. The expo was attended by 12724 authentic buyers and visitors in total.

The event features contemporary collections in a range of textiles, including nets, rapier jacquard items, clothing, home furnishings, twill, satin, and plain as well as single and double jerseys, top dyed sarees, diable viscose sarees, diable nylon sarees, curtain fabrics, and couch fabrics. Numerous orders for technical textiles, brocade fabrics, and lungi fabric were placed with the exhibitors.
