KITEX Garments Limited, a prominent garment manufacturer based in Kerala, has announced an investment of Rs 1,000 crore in the establishment of a textile plant at the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park (KMTP) in Warangal. Following a series of discussions with Telangana Industries Minister KT Rama Rao and a team from the State Industries Department, the announcement was made.
The Kitex Group Management team, lead by the company’s CMD Sabu Jacob, arrived on Friday aboard a chartered aeroplane arranged by the Telangana State Government from Kerala. The projected investment to establish a clothing manufacturing facility is estimated to create 4,000 employment. The crew was delighted with the infrastructure of the Textile Park and returned to Hyderabad.
