For hotels, a new hybrid solution aids in the elimination of two sources of plastic waste.

The VersaValet™, a washable and reusable laundry bag designed to work as both a hotel laundry collection bag and a clean return garment bag, was launched today by Standard Textile Co., Inc., a global textile production leader for the healthcare and hospitality markets. VersaValet™ provides hoteliers with a sustainable and straightforward solution to assist their green initiatives and the environment by eliminating the need for single-use plastic laundry and dry-cleaning bags.

The VersaValet™, which is made entirely of recycled yarns and has an antimicrobial treatment for further protection and peace of mind, is also made responsibly. Hoteliers can support their sustainability aims while enhancing operational savings with the hybrid laundry/garment bag solution.

“As a textile industry innovator, Standard Textile prioritises distinctive and creative solutions to tackle industry issues,” stated Greg Eubanks, Group Vice President of Hospitality Sales and Marketing at Standard Textile. “Our hotel partners are looking for methods to reduce single-use plastics on their properties, and removing plastic from the guest washing process was a particular problem that the VersaValet™ was created to address.”
