On 4 August 2020, United Sewing Automation, Inc. announces of opening a new manufacturing facility which will be fully automated in Mount Airy. This facility will be creating disposable PPE facemasks made out of the material sourced from the USA. Importing PPE Caused a lot of distress to the frontline healthcare workers of the USA.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic, a conspicuous shortage of PPE has been seen. To fulfil this void Mount Airy have come to manufacture medical grade mask with their high tech automated production equipment.
