In order to accelerate India’s development through MSME under “Viksit Bharat 2047,” the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI-CMSME) (Confederation of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) will jointly organize the “Gujarat MSME Summit 2025” in Surat in January 2025. A curtain raiser event for Gujarat MSME Summit was held on 1st October 2024 at Sarasana, Surat.
Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) are a vital pillar of the Indian economy, making a substantial contribution to employment, domestic production, and exports, according to SGCCI President Shri Vijay Mewawala. Over 12 crore people are employed by MSMEs in India, and Surat and all of South Gujarat are the center of MSMEs. More than 63.4 million MSMEs operate in India; they account for 30% of the country’s GDP and 48% of its exports. The Gujarat MSME Summit 2025 is scheduled to take place in Surat in January 2025, with the objective of utilizing MSME to propel the nation’s growth in line with “Viksit Bharat 2047.”
FICCI-CMSME Gujarat Regional Chairman Shri Ankit Patel said, the government and industry participants are aiming to promote MSME industries to global level. The FICCI and Chamber of Commerce will hold the MSME Summit in an effort to reach the MSME to MNC aim. There will be advice on how to gather MSME funding and apply for loans with ease. Along with MSME industries, Green MSME, Credit Guarantee Scheme, New Assessment Government Model, Mudra Loan Expansion, E-Commerce Hub, and Export Hub will receive comprehensive information on how to lower costs and boost production process efficiency.
