The BFM Fabric Show, which was scheduled for June 8-9, 2021 at Twickenham, has been rescheduled for February/March 2022.
Following discussions with exhibitors, it became clear that the uncertainties surrounding international travel and the UK government’s easing of lockdown restrictions, as well as the ability of tourists to attend and the growing number of Covid-19 cases in Europe, significantly reduced the chances of a good display this year.
Following discussions with exhibitors, it became clear that the uncertainty surrounding international travel and the UK government’s relaxation of lockdown restrictions, as well as the willingness of visitors to attend and the increasing number of Covid-19 cases in Europe, had significantly reduced the chances of a successful show this year.
“Because there is still no assurance that lockdown restrictions will be removed by the beginning of June, it makes sense to postpone the show until 2022, when we will be able to have a complete and well-attended gathering.”
Instead, the BFM will begin preparing for a display in late February/early March 2022.
