TFP is pleased to announce the formal launch of a new manufacturing line, which will considerably increase nonwoven capacity in response to increased demand for TFP’s innovative nonwovens across all markets.
TFP has officially launched a new nonwovens production line. The expansion comes on the heels of a substantial capacity boost in 2015. The new line’s commissioning will begin soon, with new infrastructure to house the line and expanded warehouses to accommodate the increase in output and raw materials. Martin Thompson, Managing Director of TFP, states that “this new manufacturing line offers another substantial capacity boost for TFP, which is required to fulfil fast rising demand for our non-wearable products in industries such as fuel cells and defence.”
TFP is a successful knowledge-based manufacturing firm that specialises in the development of innovative nonwovens and other related materials for highly specialised and difficult applications. The company’s unique technologies provide new solutions in a variety of growing industries, including hydrogen fuel cells, aerospace, defence, and wind energy. It employs proprietary wet-laid nonwoven technology derived from the papermaking processes employed by its parent business, James Cropper PLC.
