Sustainable affordable non-woven wipes by Truetzschler
At the forthcoming INDEX show in Geneva (booth no. 2327), Truetzschler Nonwovens and Truetzschler Card Clothing will present new line concepts and wires for the efficient manufacture of sustainable non woven for wipes or hygiene textiles.
“Consumers love textiles made from cotton fibers. They highly appreciate the soft and natural touch not only in garments but also in other products coming in contact with the skin,” the company said. There are only two reasons why cotton fibers are used limited in single-use non-woven. First, cotton is more expensive than the less expensive blends of viscose/polyester most of the time. And second, cotton fibers are naturally occurring products whose qualities vary from region to year. Cotton fibers an ideal material for single-use dry and wet wipes because of their strength and absorbent capacity.
