SGCCI to organize textile exhibition ‘SITEX-2024’ from 6-8 January

— More than 100 exhibitors will participate in the three-days event, multi-feeder circular knitting machines and positional digital printing machines will remain center of attraction

The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) has organized a three days ‘SITEX – Surat International Textile Expo- 2024’ at the Surat International Exhibition and Convention Center in Sarsana from January 6 to 8, 2024.


SGCCI President Ramesh Vaghasia said, this is the 9th exhibition of ‘SITEX’ series of exhibitions covering machinery of the entire textile industry. This exhibition for textile technology and machinery will directly benefit the growing textile industry of Surat. ‘SITEX-2024’ will be an important step towards a developed India @2047, which will go a long way in increasing productivity as well as creating large-scale employment.

SGCCI Vice President Vijay Mevawala said, the exhibition covers all sectors like Textile Machinery, Textile Ancillary and Machinery, Embroidery and Breeding Machinery and Accessories, Textile Engineering, Technical Textile Related Machinery, Position and Digital Printing Machines and Accessories, Yarn and Fabrics.

The inauguration ceremony of ‘SITEX-2024’ will be held on January 6, 2014 at 10:00 am. Additional Textile Secretary to Government of India S.P. Verma will inaugurate the three days expo. High Speed Electric Jacquard Machine made in India will be showcased in this exhibition. It can be easily fitted on direct machine in minimum height (8.5) without installing girder. An electronic jacquard machine with 400 rpm and 2688 hook, made in India, along with super high speed TFO will be exhibited. Apart from this, multi-feeder circular knitting machine and positional digital printing machine useful for embroidery and jacquard fabric will also be the center of attraction.

The exhibition will organized in an area of approximately 1.30 lakh square feet. More than 100 exhibitors will display advanced technology Airjet Looms, Water Jet Looms, Rapier Looms, Electronic Jacquard, Dobby Machine, Velvet Weaving Machine, Circular Knitting, Yarn Dyeing, Warping Machine, Digital Printing Machinery, position printing machine, various printing ink, sewing machine, heat transfer machine, hot fix machine, TFO in the three days exhibition.
