Renaissance Textile has ordered a complete recycling process from international technology group ANDRITZ for their first recycling platform in Laval, France.
The line is expected to be operational by the end of the second quarter of 2022.
Renaissance Textile’s target is to become the first French recycling platform dedicated to end-of-life textiles. The company will soon open a new 12,000 sqm plant in Cours, France, equipped with a complete recycling line from ANDRITZ Laroche. Renaissance Textile hopes to be able to create up to jobs by. Andritz Laroche says it aims to provide sustainable solutions that strongly support the circular economy.
ANDRITZ offers a broad portfolio of innovative plants, equipment, systems and services for the pulp and paper industry, the hydropower sector, the metals processing and forming industry, pumps, solid/liquid separation in the municipal and industrial sectors. Plants for power generation, flue gas cleaning, recycling, and the production of nonwovens and panelboard complete the global product offering.
