Raymond, Goonj Empower Through Garment Exchange Drive

In a continued effort to contribute meaningfully to society, Raymond has once again partnered with Goonj for the 2025 edition of its annual initiative, Look Good Feel Good. This year, actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood has joined the campaign to strengthen its core message: Thoughtful clothing donations can restore dignity and hope in someone else’s life.
The garment exchange program has grown year after year. It encourages individuals to donate gently used, wearable clothes, and in return, they receive complimentary stitching services at select Raymond Shops and prominent multi-brand retail stores.
The initiative is active from July 4 to July 27, during which customers are invited to experience the joy of giving by contributing usable garments. The donated clothing is processed through Goonj’s Circularity Centers and transformed into Material Kits. These kits are distributed as a dignified reward to rural communities for their participation in development projects — such as reviving water bodies or constructing bamboo bridges.
Customers are welcome to donate a variety of garments—shirts, trousers, jackets, women's and kids’ wear—as long as they are in good condition. In return, each donor can receive up to 15 stitching vouchers, based on the number of garments exchanged. These vouchers are redeemable against stitching services on Raymond fabrics at participating stores.
Over the years, the initiative has seen widespread participation. In 2024, more than 4 lakh garments were collected, with the highest engagement coming from Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Delhi. Raymond anticipates even greater involvement in 2025, as public awareness around sustainability and social impact continues to rise.
Paritosh Tiwari of Raymond Lifestyle Ltd. remarked, “Look Good Feel Good is not just a mere campaign, it is a reflection of what we stand for. Every garment contributed has the potential to become part of someone else’s story. Over the years, the response has shown us that people want to contribute, all they need is a platform that’s thoughtful and trustworthy. That’s what we aim to provide, in partnership with Goonj.”
Anshu Gupta, Founder of Goonj, stated, “Goonj's long-standing partnership with Raymond is unique and significant in many ways. The growing success of this campaign, over the years, highlights that when people are given a chance to contribute for a larger purpose, they respond. At Goonj, our sustained work over the last 2 decades has been on transforming peoples' mindset about their under-utilised clothes, beyond decluttering and recycling, as a larger contribution to peoples' dignity, development and climate action. We hope to work more closely with Raymond in future as well to see how this brings about a deeper impact in the world.”
