Leading men’s premium fashion brand, Rare Rabbit, is on the brink of a significant financial breakthrough as sources reveal a potential $50 million funding deal with venture capital firm A91 Partners. The infusion of funds would peg the nine-year-old brand’s value at approximately $330 million, marking a major milestone in its impressive growth trajectory.

Discussions between Rare Rabbit and A91 Partners have reached an advanced stage, with the venture firm eyeing a 15 per cent stake in the burgeoning start-up. This funding comes amid earlier talks with Tata Capital, which unfortunately fell through during the due diligence phase.

Despite interest from major players like Reliance Retail, the brand’s valuation proved a stumbling block. Rare Rabbit was envisioned in 2015 by founders Manish Poddar and Akshika Poddar as a departure from conventional men’s formal wear, aiming to empower men to embrace diverse styles beyond the mundane. Through its commitment to innovative designs and vibrant aesthetics, Rare Rabbit has established a strong foothold in the market, boasting an extensive range of high-quality apparel.

With a thriving network of over 100 stores nationwide and a notable profit surge in recent years, Rare Rabbit’s partnership with A91 Partners signifies a promising chapter in its continued evolution within the fashion industry
