Precision Textiles has launched IQFit Glass Free, a barrier line for mattress foam cores. The new items are devoid of fibreglass, chemicals, and are extremely breathable. They were created in response to the problems that certain consumers had with fibreglass and chemically treated FR barriers. Precision Textiles is a manufacturer of coated textiles, nonwovens, and laminations for the bedding and automotive industries.

The IQFit Glass Free fits like a glove on the mattress. The extra-wide variant is intended to be bonded to the underside of a mattress ticking. The product has been certified by UL’sGREENGUARD Gold standard for minimal chemical emissions. It also meets the CFR 1633 requirement for mattress set flammability, California’s Proposition 65 for cancer-causing chemical pollution, and AB 29.
