Pratibha Syntex Ltd (PSL), a leader in sustainable textile manufacturing has been recognized twice last week for inclusive initiatives. The industry has been feted by FMPCCI as Recruiter of the Year Award and CITI’s Birla Economic & Textile Research Foundation Award for sustainable and innovative manufacturing in textile mills.
Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers Mr Narendra Tomar and Minister of State for Textile Mrs Dharshna Vikram Jardosh presented the CITI’s Birla Economic & Textile Research Foundation Award to Mr Shreyaskar Chaudhary (Managing Director, Pratibha Syntex Ltd) during the golden jubilee celebration of CITI CDRA held at New Delhi on April 12, 2022. Notably, Pratibha Syntex had entered into collaboration with Good Fashion Fund for the replacement and expansion of their spinning, processing and garmenting divisions. The new machines are energy and water efficient. Recently the effluent treatment plant has also been converted to biological process, reducing landfill waste by 85%. Rooftop solar panels of 2.4 MW has also been installed and another 4 MW is under way.
Felicitating the drive to empower people, Federation of Madhya Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry presented recruiter of the year award on April 10, 2022 during a program held at Bhopal. Honorable Governor of Madhya Pradesh Shri Mangubhai Patel presented the award to Mr H S Jha Vice President HR, Pratibha Syntex Ltd.
“I am humble by the recognition and awards are a reflection that we are on right track. Sustainability has always been at the core of who we are and the entire team is galvanized” said Mr Chaudhary.
