Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Odisha on January 28, 2025, to inaugurate the “Utkarsh Odisha – Make In Odisha Conclave 2025” in Bhubaneswar. Arriving at Biju Patnaik International Airport at 10:35 AM, he will deliver a keynote address at Janata Maidan, focusing on the central government’s vision for Odisha’s industrial transformation.
The conclave aims to attract investment from industry leaders, policymakers, and international investors across sectors such as manufacturing, mining, green energy, IT, and infrastructure. Over 7,500 delegates from 20 countries are expected to attend, with an emphasis on local entrepreneurship and global partnerships.
The event will feature discussions on key sectors like IT and renewable energy, with plans to sign over 100 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) that could create around 350,000 jobs. Cultural performances, including a showcase by renowned Odissi dancer Padma Shri Aruna Mohanty, will also be part of the program.
This marks Modi’s second visit to Odisha this month, following his attendance at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas on January 9. The conclave represents a significant opportunity for Odisha to enhance its industrial landscape and attract global investment.
