Pizza Hut has released a streetwear line, adding to the list of unusual firms to launch fashion collections.
Pizza Hut has developed a limited-edition capsule collection called ‘Pizza Hut Tastewear,’ which includes a tracksuit, t-shirt, slides, a bejewelled pepperoni chain, and a cup, all in the company’s signature red and white colour scheme. The drop will be available exclusively on PizzaHutShop.com, with prices ranging from 9.99 to 99.99 USD.
It’s the latest in a long line of odd brands to try their hand at fashion in recent years, such as Lidl, which capitalised on the rising streetwear scene’s proclivity for distinctive and often sarcastic products last summer. The German supermarket retailer released a pair of throwback sneakers in vivid colours for only 12.99 euros. The shoes were a huge hit and quickly found their way onto the resale market, where they went for hundreds of euros each.
