The French Leather Council, Conseil National du Cuir (CNC), organiser of the Sustainable Leather Forum, to be held September 14, 2020 at the French Economic, Social and Environmental Council in Paris, has announced the line-up of speakers and topics.
Building on the success of the inaugural event last year, the second edition of the conference will be divided into four main sessions, with key topics including CSR and Risk management in the Leather Industry; Raw Hides & Leather: Innovation and Best Practice; The circular Economy in Footwear & Leather Goods; as well as Training, Savoir-faire, regional attractiveness and CSR challenges for the sector.
The high-calibre line-up of speakers includes Régis Léty, Manager of Sustainable Development, CTC; Luc Mounier, Professor of animal well-being, VetAgro; Gustavo Gonzalez Quijano, Secretary-General, Cotance; Wolfram Scholz, Commission Chairman IULTCS – IE and Director of W2O Environmental; Sophie Hersan, Chief Growth Officer, Vestiaire Collective; Florence Rambaud, Director of the Institut des Metiers d’Excellence, LVMH and Andree-Anne Lemieux, Director of the Chair Sustainability IFM-Kering.
Exclusive keynote addresses will also be given by representatives from luxury groups Kering, LVMH and Hermes.
