The Japanese car manufacturer has announced it will resume operations to normal or pre-pandemic levels starting from August.

Adjustments due to the coronavirus implemented at Mazda’s plants in Japan, Mexico and Thailand, which produce vehicles for the European market, will end in July. In Japan, overtime hours and work on bank holidays will resume and weekend shifts added to make up for periods where production had been suspended. Worldwide, Mazda dealerships have also resumed sales operations. The company says it will continue to monitor the coronavirus situation as well as the trends of automobile demand in each market where its vehicles are shipped.
