China interested to make the investment in leather and footwear with Bangladesh

China are interested to make the investment in order to produce leather goods and footwear. In order to lower production cost, the Chinese investors are keen to establish their production units out of China. Business delegation from China explored ways to invest in Bangladesh.

On Tuesday, 3 July 2018, LFMEAB member –Apex Footwear Limited –hosted a “Welcome Reception & Networking Event” at La Vita Hall of Lakeshore Hotel, in order to promote Bangladesh footwear industry to a visiting foreign business delegation from China.

To create an opportunity for people who are currently involved in the leather and footwear industry in Bangladesh. This program was arranged to showcase their craftsmanship and quality footwear to leading players in China. current footwear industry in Bangladesh were highlighted in this event, opportunities were offered to potential investors and suppliers. This session was held and moderated by Mr. William Wong, the organizer of the visit for the Chinese supply chain group. Other participants included Syed Nasim Manzur, Advisor, LFMEAB and MD of Apex Footwear Ltd, Mr. Abdul Momen Bhuiyan, Sr. Vice President were present among others.

To establish industrial path business meeting between Bay Group and the Chinese investors’ group at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon hotel in Dhaka. Around 18 Managing Directors and Chief Executive officers of Chinese footwear and leather companies, including Ju Qiang Flyknit, Shuang Qi Apparel & Footwear, Yan Shan Footwear Sole, Hua Xia Happiness, Jia Le Footwear Materials, and Emma Group were present at the event.
