Organizers of Freiberg Leather Days have made some of the abstracts which are available to download, in spite of the June event being cancelled, which were scheduled to be presented during the event.
A list of the confirmed speakers has been provided by the VGCT and FILK, the co-organizers of Freiberg Leather Days, of the now cancelled June 2020 event, who were happy to share their latest results and information on projects and products with a wider audience. A total of 19 papers are available to download, including B. Autenrieth from Trumpler with “Leather: A Natural High Tech Material – Facts rather than Words”; R. Faatz from Lectra Germany with “Sustainable and competitive? Flexibility is the key to profitable leather processing”; M. Costello from Stahl with “Renewable Carbon and how it is changing the leather chemicals industry”; and E. Heller from SLCR Lasertechnik with “Animal meets Laser – Traceability of hides, skins and leather!”.
Initially planned to be held June 18-19, 2020, the next edition of Freiberg Leather Days will now take place June 9-10, 2021.
