Apache Will Invest ₹70 Crore in The Leather unit,

Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will lay the foundation stone of a unit of Apache Intelligent SEZ, a footwear manufacturer, in Pulivendula in Kadapa district on December 24. Apache will invest ₹70 crore in the leather unit, which will employ around 2,000. Apache’s headquarters is at Inagaluru near Srikalahasti in Chittoor district.

Representatives of the group had met district collector Chevuri Harikiran recently to discuss various issues related to establishment of the unit, according to a newspaper report from the state.

Company representatives were shown the space allotted for their proposed unit in the Industrial Development Park (IDP) of the town. Company deputy general manager Muthu Govindaswamy and his team inspected the 27.94 acres area
