Fresco and Rocket are two new ranges of anti-bacterial leather (ABL), launched by Spanish tannery Tenerias Omega in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. Intended for the Hospitality and Contract Furnishing markets, as well as for the Aviation industry.
After exhaustive testing and research on real leather by an experienced team of leather technicians Both articles have been developed at the tannery in Spain. In order to make the articles unique from preventing the bacteria penetrating into the leather incorporates coatings at different stages of production is done. It does not include chlorines or bleaches.This range has been tested according to the norm UNE-EN ISO 16187 (test method to assess antibacterial activity).
Leatherlution disinfectant solution
Additionally, these articles can be disinfected when required by using Tenerias Omega’s recently launched Leatherlution, a first-class, dermatologically tested leather disinfectant solution, which deeply cleanses leather surfaces without damaging them, suitable for all pigmented leathers. Furthermore, it does not stain clothes and leaves a pleasant, long-lasting smell. Leatherlution eliminates 99.9% of germs, bacteria and viruses, according to the norm UNE-EN ISO 16187 (test method to assess antibacterial activity). It does not contain chlorines and bleaches and is 100% biodegradable.
