Lectra, a textile processing solutions provider, has announced the purchase of Neteven, whose Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform would improve Lectra’s response to the demands of fashion customers.
Neteven’s platform centralises the product catalogue as well as information on stock levels, sales pricing, and orders in order to automate and simplify distribution on the internet.
Neteven, the world’s largest e-commerce firm, announced a partnership with Lectra to develop a new direct-to-consumer distribution platform. According to Neteven, e-commerce is enjoying true growth throughout the world, as are marketplaces, which currently account for 40% of online transactions.
Neteven, an e-commerce technology business, has been acquired by Lectra. The acquisition is part of the company’s recent acquisitions, which also include Gerber Technology and Kubix Link. “We are pleased to welcome the brilliant Neteven team to Lectra,” stated CEO and Chairman Daniel Harari.
