NedGraphics Software Announces Donation of $9.4 Million to NIFT

De Bilt,The Netherland—NedGraphics Software Company announced CAD Software donation totaling $9.4 million (€8.6 million) in 2020 to NIFT that support fashion education. The donation to NIFT with 16 campuses and a capacity of 11,514 students will encompass the NedGraphics’ softwares that leads fashion education, design and production worldwide.

“NedGraphics is committed to leading advances in Printing, Weaving and Knitting software technology, for the textile industries from retailers and apparel to floor covering and home fashions companies.” said Arnout de Goeij, General Manager EMEA, NedGraphics Software B.V. “Undoubtedly, NIFT is the pioneering institute of fashion education in India and has been in the vanguard of providing professional human resource to the textile and apparel industry in all over the world. We are proud to support these organizations in their efforts to help educate textile and fashion.”

In her speech Prof. Ruby Kashyap Sood, Ph.D. Chairperson of Textile Design in NIFT, said “The graduates of NIFT understand the nuances of fashion business spanning art, craft, technology and strategy and have acquired the skill sets that will make them adapt to the growing needs of the industry. With the support of NedGraphics proven software, our students also have the global advantage in the business”.
