The Indian International Textile Machinery Exhibitions Society (India ITME Society) is preparing to launch the third Global Textile Technology and Engineering Show (GTTES) in Mumbai this February. The event, running from the 21st to the 23rd, will focus on the future of textile manufacturing, highlighting the critical roles of sustainability and productivity in upcoming investments.
Organizers emphasize the need for machinery across the entire textile value chain to incorporate advancements in areas like energy efficiency, automation, artificial intelligence, and other innovative technologies.
GTTES 2025 will offer a platform to explore the latest developments and opportunities within the post-spinning sectors. Exhibits will span weaving, processing, finishing, garments, knitting, and technical textiles, all with a focus on eco-friendly practices and sustainable growth. The show anticipates 175 exhibitors from India and four other nations, categorized across eight major segments. International visitors are expected, with targeted business-to-business meetings planned with delegations from regions including Africa and Sri Lanka.
A significant portion of the exhibition space will be dedicated to weaving (42 exhibitors) and processing (38 exhibitors) technologies. The event will also feature a dedicated investment promotion program hosted by the Chhattisgarh government, designed to showcase opportunities within the state’s textile sector.
