The 84th Installation Ceremony of The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) was held on Sunday, 16th June, 2024 at Platinum Hall, Sarsana. The new team of office bearers has taken over the charges. A textile businessman, Mr. Vijay Mewawala and Mr. Nikhil Madrasi took over as the president & vice president of SGCCI for the year 2024-25.
The event was attended by Hon’ble central Water minister Mr CR Patil as main chief guest. Mr. Priyavrat Mafatlal, Managing Director of Mafatlal Industries Ltd. and Director of Garden Silk Meals & MCPI Pvt Ltd., Mr. Debi Prasad Patra graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Hon’ble Home Minister (State Level) of Gujarat Mr. Harshbhai Sanghvi, Hon’ble Education Minister Mr. Prafulbhai Pansheria and Hon’ble MP from Surat Mr. Mukeshbhai Dalal were present in the function as special guests.
The president of SGCCI Mr. Vijay Mewawala said, SGCCI will have a special contribution in the era of globalization and in the fulfillment of the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modiji ‘Viksit Bharat@2047’. The policy of the SGCCI will be based on ‘Think Global, Act Local’ to bring the products produced in South Gujarat to the global market.
Mr. Nirav Mandlewala and Mr. Mrinal Shukla is appointed as Honorary Secretary & Treasurer of SGCCI for the year 2024-25.
