Manufacturing Excellence Summit

NewDelhi :Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Western UP organized the third edition of its flagship Manufacturing Summit at New Delhi. With the theme “making Indian Industry Globally Competitive,” the summit explored the latest trends, technologies, and strategies that are reshaping the manufacturing landscape in India and around the world.  It brought together the industry leaders, cutting-edge technology providers, and subject experts who are driving the future of manufacturing.

In line with the goal of establishing Uttar Pradesh a trillion-dollar economy, the Manufacturing Excellence Summit aimedto propel Uttar Pradesh’s manufacturing sector into a new era of innovation and technology-driven growth. By showcasing the latest advancements in manufacturing processes, automation, and digitalization, the summit attempted to inspire local industries to adopt innovative practices that enhance efficiency, quality, and global competitiveness.

The guest of honour at the Summit was Smt. Supriya Devasthali, Director of the Department for Promotion of Industry, and Internal Trade (DPIIT) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. She emphasized on the current necessity of incorporating the cost of doing business with the ease of doing business, to make manufacturing sector more competitive. She also mentioned that each of us has our own individual contributions to make towards the realization of $ 5 Trillion economy.

Among the distinguished guests and prominent industry leaders gracing the occasion were Mr Pranay S Garg, Chairman, CII Western U.P. Zone & Managing Director, Advance Valves Pvt Ltd., Mr Aakash Minda, Vice Chairman, CII Western U.P. Zone & Executive Director, Minda Corporation Ltd., Mr Vinod Sharma,  Chairman, CII National Committee on ICET & Managing Director, Deki Electronics Ltd., Mr Mukesh Kumar, Chairman, CII Western U.P. Manufacturing Committee & Executive Plant Head, Tata Steel Ltd., Ms Rashmi Mansharamani, Chairperson, CII WUP HR & IR Group & CHRO, Wave Group.

During the day, Mr Sahil Dharia, mentioned that that to be globally competitive, we must back ourselves with the top-end technology. The vote of thanks was given by Mr Aakash Minda.
