Lydall is a leading US manufacturer of value-added engineering material specializing in thermal/acoustical and filteration/separation materials is set to install a meltblown manufacturing line in Saint-Rivalain, France in the second quarters of 2021.
COVID-19 has created high global demands of face masks. The different filtration systems, N95 respirators commonly known in India and its European equivalent, FFF2/FFF3 as well as commonly known surgical masks MERV-, HEPA- and ULPA- all are generally made of specially engineered melt blown fabrics.
The step taken by Lydall during this ongoing pandemic is highly appreciable. Lydall has received 30% funding for this manufacturing hub from French Ministry of Economy and Finance. It is expected to curve the global demand of the surgical masks in this pandemic
