Scoring 83/100, Lindström leads sustainable innovation globally, with regional strides in India
The honor is a testament to Lindström’s dedication to incorporating sustainable practices throughout its supply chain and worldwide operations.
Leading sustainability rating company EcoVadis evaluated Lindström based on 21 standards in four domains: sustainable procurement, ethics, labor and human rights, and the environment. With exceptional performance in Environmental Practices (90/100) and solid outcomes in the other areas, Lindström achieved an outstanding score of 83/100.
“This accomplishment is the outcome of a team effort,” stated Inari Laveri, Lindström’s Climate and Compliance Manager. “Our staff members have enthusiastically engaged in training sessions, and our project team has put forth endless effort to improve our rules, procedures, and reporting. Over the past five years, EcoVadis’ input has been extremely helpful in identifying areas that require improvement and creating development plans that work.
Recent improvements to Lindström’s HR systems have increased staff training and monitoring. In 2024, over 10,000 hours were devoted to health and safety workshops, and 92% of staff members finished Code of Conduct training.
While tackling regional issues, Lindström India coordinates its efforts with the organization’s worldwide sustainability objectives.
